Chaga Mushroom
One of nature’s most powerful medicines
Chaga Mushroom
Chaga mushroom is something we forage for in the winter months. Birch trees are full of medicinal compounds that the Chaga is able to suck up when the birch tree lies dormant. This is the time when Chaga should be harvested as it is at its full medicinal peak.
Harvested during winter months
Our ancestors told us to only harvest chaga during winter while the birch tree is dormant. This is when Chaga is at its full medicinal value.
Dual extraction
tincture
We only sell dual extraction tinctures, so you get more benefits.
A powerful
antioxidant
We can’t promise that chaga can cure this or prevent that. There is a lot of information online though about its uses; our ancestors have used Chaga for centuries for many different ailments.
Storing Chaga
Our tinctures are very potent and when they are properly sealed and kept in a cool, dark, dry location, they can last for years.
Our top seller is enough tincture to last you 1 - 2 months. It’s recommended to consume it though within one year of purchase.
Dried naturally
Our preparation
After harvesting chaga, it is broken down in to small one inch chunks and then naturally dried over several days without any external sources.
After the chaga has been dried thoroughly, it is placed inside glass containers. We then add 100 proof alcohol to the same container and let it sit a minimum of two months, shaking gently daily.
After the alcohol is done extracting the medicinal compounds out of the chaga, we take the same chaga and do a hot water extraction with distilled water. The heat extracts out of the chaga what the alcohol can’t.
