Preparing Fresh Morel Mushrooms

It is perfectly normal to see worms and other little creatures inside the crevices of fresh morel mushrooms. Soaking the morels in salted water will take care of all the little creatures.

Morels are still a wild food and they should be prepared properly by following the instructions below.

Do not consume raw morel mushrooms.
