Refunds.

Recent edit: adding information on gift card returns.

As our product line contains mostly food products, we do not offer refunds. There are only a few exceptions.

In the event that a pre order cannot be fulfilled, refunds will be issued near these dates:

Morels:
If we cannot fulfill a morel mushroom pre order by August 15th of each year, we will issue refunds. Note that we have the discretion to send an equivalent amount of dry morel mushroom in place of fresh. See example below.

John Doe pre-orders 10 lbs of fresh morel mushrooms. We are out foraging morels, but are in an extremely isolated area with limited access. It is not feasible for us to travel several hundred kilometers to the nearest airport to fly out 10 lbs. of morel mushrooms. Instead, we are drying morel mushrooms at our harvesting location and mail John 1 lb. of dried morel mushroom in place of fresh on, or before August 15th. As the ratio of fresh to dry is 10:1, we send John 1 lb. of dry.

Another possible scenario:

Mother nature does not cooperate with us whatsoever the entire morel mushroom season, and no morels are growing anywhere! While this is an unlikely scenario, it can happen. In this scenario, we issue John a full refund on or around August 15th. Alternatively, John can keep his order placed with us to be fulfilled the following season.

Fiddleheads:

In the event that a fresh Fiddlehead pre-order cannot be fulfilled by May 31st of each year, a full refund will be issued. Alternatively, if you made a pre-order on the website which we cannot fulfill, you can choose to keep your order with us to be fulfilled the following growing season.

Morel mushrooms and Fiddleheads are the only products we currently offer as pre-orders. No other exceptions for refunds will be made for other products.

Gift Cards:

There are no refunds or exchanges for gift cards.

Exchanges.

If you placed an order on our website and would like to change it, we may be able to do so if we can confirm with you before order fulfillment.

Other exchanges will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Please contact us.
