1 oz Dried Pine Mushrooms
Harvested from the North Coast Mountains of BC.
We hiked far and wide to get these rare mushrooms for you. We cleaned and then dried these pines with wood heat for 2 to 3 days.
Pine mushroom has been popular with Japanese for ceremonial purposes and celebrations. It is also very popular as gifts.
They have a somewhat spicy/cinnamon scent and are very potent in flavor.
Add sparingly to your favorite stir fry’s, home made stews and soups. We love to add some to our rice while it’s boiling to give it that extra flavor!
Reconstitute for 20 to 30 minutes in your favorite liquid. Take the liquid you used for reconstituting, strain and use it as stock for soup. If you’re not ready to make soup right away, simply freeze the stock and use it when you’re ready.
